All publicly available material documents how Ms Felgendreher in her discussions with Journalits prior to her arrest talks about similarities between Naziism in the early period of the “Thrid Reich” and current restrictions of fundamental human rights. Diese „Antisemitismusjäger“ werden vom Staat finanziert, müssen also dafür sorgen, dass Deutschland sich im „Rechtsruck“ befindet.
They defame innocent citizens and do not even shy away from defaming Holocaust survivor Vera Sharav as a relativizer of the Holocaust. She says „Every artist should act with the awareness that art is not created in a vacuum. “
Since she is a lateral thinker by profession, she did not stop thinking for herself during „Covid Times“, although critical thinking suddenly became a swear word and equivalent for „right wing extremist, conspiracy theorist, anti-Semite or holocaust-denier“, which she of course not is.
On January 26th she went to join a protest at the German Bundestag where a debate was taking place to introduce mandatory vaccinations.
At the protest, Monica read out a speech which Holocaust Survivor Vera Sharav held in Brussels three days before. Some journalists were said to have filed complaints to the Police about alleged downplaying of the Holocaust by Monica Felgendreher.

Some of that was published by the Jewish Forum for Democracy and against Antisemitism (JFDA) which also issued a strong condemnation of Ms Felgendreher who according to JDFA had committed the criminal offense of “relativizaton of the Holocaust.” The only proof given in the JFDA-declaration is the term “Genocide” which was written as a quote from Vera Sharav on the placard which Ms Felgendreher took with her to the protest.
She goes on to extend an invitation to JDFA to attend an international Round Table discussion of the question “How can we learn from History” which Felgendreher together with other organizers is in the process of organizing. Anyone who claims otherwise is lying for their own interests.
In order to defend human rights and to decisively counteract the dangerous seeds of war by dividing society, she became a political activist and organized demonstrations, dialogue encounters and creative actions to help closing the gap of hate promoted by politicians, organisations and mainstream-media.
To bring people back into dialogue and remind them that healthy communities are based on diversity, debate and compromise and that democracy also means protecting minorities, she started the conceptual art project “Performance for Peace” in 2020.
